Aloha @ Jalan P Ramlee

Located at along the Beach Club area, comes a new night spot, Aloha. I just saw this last week while I was around this area and I kinda forgot what was the spot before Aloha...
While I was walking past Aloha, heard that they played good cheesy music from the 80's... my cup of tea... will go and check it when I am free one of these days...

Christmas Beer Tree @ Thai Bar

While most of the shopping centres are busy decorating their christmas trees, pubs and bars in Jalan Sultan Ismail is also doing the same too.

Their Christmas Tree is more of a Christmas Beer Tree with bottles of beer making up the tree.

When they light up, honestly, they look more beautiful than the trees in the mall!

Cats @ Kuching

You don't name this town Kuching for nothing! ( Kuching means cat in Bahasa Malaysia) and true enough you will see the famous cats statue just right in front of Holiday Inn.
Other than that, if you are walking at the handicrafts stalls, you will also see cats as one of their motives or inspiration artwork!
If you are a fan of cats, you should come here as I understand that they also have a cats museum... hmmm cat women should really come here!

Holiday Inn @ Kuching

Finally, in my last trip, I managed to stay in Holiday Inn, previously when I wanted to stay there, it was all fully booked.

Located in the heart of the city, Holiday Inn kuching offers good service, facilities and location.

Almost everywhere is within walking distance, from the shopping malls, cineplexes to eating spots.

The room where I stayed in offered a very nice view to the Rejang river, despite being muddy......but then again most rivers are muddy.

Overall, excellent service and will truly go back again

Hilton @ Kuching

My exporation of the Kuching town also included Hilton as well, as I like to see the different designs and atmosphere of the hotels.
Indeed, just like any other Hiltons, you know you have stepped into style the moment you walked in, the floor, the windows the layout......everything spells out class and style.
Yup, then again the prices here are also at the higher class too. Not just the interior spells class, even their grass and flowers are carefully arranged and trimmed to reflect the service they provide and the luxury that you will get!

Seafood @ Sabah

If you have come all the way to Sabah, you should definitely try out the seafood as it looks fresh when its alive and taste great when they are cooked... haha
The varieties of lobsters, prawns , fishes and also different sorts of clams are available here in all sorts of sizes.
Its up to you to choose what you want to eat, you see and someone will get it for you with a fishing net, you can be assured of the freshness.

Water Front @ Sabah

Maybe clubbing is not your cup of tea and the pubs is a bit too stuffy for you.
You are in Sabah and wish to taste the air and look at the beach, don't worry, other than pubs and clubs, there are also drinking holes which overlooked the beach, places for you to drink some Carslberg under their Umbrella or you want the taste of Tiger. Its all here.
Drinking out in the open air with the view of the sea! Cool!

Pub and Makan @ Sabah

Just opposite the Promenade Hotel is a whole row of clubbing and eating area.

One of them the clubbing spots is called BED... interesting name as you can call up your fren and ask " Would you like to go to Bed with me ?"

As I was taking these pictures during the morning, everything is quiet and still, but when night comes, this place springs alive !
There is also a Irish Bar here as well!

Of course, this place is not all about wine and alchohol, there is also a row of food outlets that serve north indian crusine to Aussie crusine. There was one place cock and bull, that one, I am not too sure what food they serve!

Promenade Hotel @ Sabah

Located just 10 minutes away from the airport and is also near the pubbing areas, Promenade Hotel is indeed in a strategic location!
Service is ok, not too bad.
Swimming pool is a bit small, looked like a garden pool.
Breakfast is however one of the highlights as they serve quite a variety of food!

Zon Regency Hotel @ Johor

ZonRegency Hotel was used to be called Eden Garden Hotel, it is actually located within the duty free zone.
The highlight of thus hotel is the bar with the live band and singers.
I have stayed here once with my colleagues, but did not really have a good impression of the hotel, a bit noisy or maybe because I was actually quite tired.
But if you are a person who likes to pub and listen to live band, this could be the place for you as the atmosphere here is quite lively!
Those with rooms above the live band would only get to sleep after the band has finished, therefore if you check in, maybe you should request for a room far from the live band to ensure you have a good night's rest!
