Durian @ Singapore

Durian aka Esplanade is the place to see, while in Malaysia, people love to eat Durian, I guess Singaporeans really show their love for this fruit by actually building a life size model of this King of the fruits in their city, they name it Esplanade, but all of us know that it is called Durian or Liu Lian to the Ah Bengs and Ah Lians.

Jokes aside, this place is where the arts and crafts and concert comes alive with internation plays like Phantom of the Opera, CATs etc were played here. Even our own Malaysian play, Puteri Gunung Ledang was brought alive here in Esplanade. Other that being a hib for the performance arts, Esplanade also has a library which focus more on books on the performance arts and some shops as well. One of the shops that I like to visit, opps forgot the name is a shop that sells stuff about movies, posters, key-chains, cards etc. Thus for a movie fan who is collecting posters, cards or what not, go check out this place!
