Arts and Crafts@Kuching

As I walked out of Chinatown area, I headed towards the Sarawak River where the gist of the activities were bundled.

Rows of shops selling arts and crafts laid side by side. What they sold were natural ferns, bamboos shaped into bags and household items.

While we use plastics in our everyday items, here everything is natural bringing nature back to harmony.

These arts and crafts are normally being sold as a souvenir items to the tourists that comes afar. Alongside these items are pepper biscuits, pepper sweets and pepper in its raw form or in powder form.

If you come to Kuching, other than bird's nest shops, you will see shops that sells pepper which is the thing to buy here!
